The state guaranteed mark for organic farming products is called BIO. Such marked products come from a farm meeting the strict conditions of the law on ecological agriculture and EU Council Regulation No. 2092/1992/EEC.
Meeting the criteria for its granting is always guaranteed by an independent certification organization (Biokont, Abedcert, Kez) supervised by the state and accreditation institutions such as the Czech Accreditation Institute, Public Service Company (Český institut pro akreditaci, o.p.s.).
