The decisive moment in the evolution of the present conditions in INTOS, spol. s r.o. that guaranteed a future dynamic development was the autumn of 2004 when the company was bought by the Austrian concern EMCO. The company INTOS, spol. s r.o. became 100% subsidiary company of the EMCO concern. Practically immediately after the acquisition, the Austrian company EMCO started an extensive re-organization of the Czech company and incorporated the company into its multi-national control and sales structures.
The INTOS Company, Ltd. continues in production of the universal centre lathes, universal tool room milling machines of line FN and FNGJ; numerically-controlled tool room milling machines with straight-line and continuous control. The machines were modified to meet all qualitative and technical standards of EMCO as required by the most demanding customers.

Business Description
In a short period of time, the company extended the production assortment with a new CNC milling machine E 160 CNC (current title is INTURN 320 Contour) which was introduced during MACH 2005 exhibition in Prague and was awarded the „GOLDEN MACH“ award for the best metal-working machine. The most actual addition in the range of products is quite new universal tool room milling machine INMILL 35, which has been being sold since the spring 2007. This machine will attract customers’ attention especially with maximum accuracy, high cutting power, universality of utilization and possibility of machining up to the work piece’s weight of 600 kg.
With effect from 1st August 2005 the INTOS Company, Ltd. has become the sole agent of all the industrial machines EMCO GROUP in the Czech Republic. From this date the INTOS Company, Ltd. has become also the provider of authorised service and supplier of spare parts for the EMCO machines which were sold through the INTOS Company and work at the Czech customers.
From 1st January 2007 the company has become the supplier of EMCO machines even in Slovakia.
The company INTOS, spol. s r. o. has acquired the ISO 9001 certification and is able to guarantee the quality of production and final products.

Conventional Milling Machines - FN 16
The FN 16 is ideal for usage at tool rooms, prototype work-shops, in moulding and production of various device and small batch production. Also at the schools and training centers this type is being manifold appreciated. As the smallest machine from INTOS product range the FN 16 meets the highest demands on accuracy and flexibility even in relation to absolutely unbeatable price and output.
Conventional Milling Machines - FNGJ 50
The universal toolroom milling machine is designed for single-piece and small lot production of intricate parts, especially in tool-making workshops (i.e. the production of gauges, fixtures, jigs, dies and other components). A wide assortment of optional extras enables plane, inclined and circular surfaces to be milled, as well as drilling, slotting, grinding and all the operations of direct or indirect indexing. Almost any common materials can be economically worked on this machine. In basic execution the milling machine is equipped by length scales and dials. The feeds in alt directions are realized by ground trapezidal screws.

The universal toolroom milling machine is designed for single-piece and small-lot production of intricate parts especially in toolmaking. Workshops i. e. the production of gauges, tools, jiga, dies, fixtures and other components. A wide assortment of optional extra enables plane, slanting and circular surfaces to be Miller, as well as drilling, slotting, boring and all the operations of direct or indirect indexing. Almost any common material can be economically worked on the machine. In its basic version the milling machine is equipped with length scales and dials. The feeds in all required directions are realized by ground trapezoidal screws. Electroequipment for 3 x 400 V, 50 Hz voltage and frequency. Other wiring execution should be noted by ordering the machine.

The general-purpose center lathe INTURN 320 CONTOUR is designed to carry out all turning operation in the production process. The up-to-date CNC system HEIDENHAIN MANUAL plus 4110 makes its operation quite easy for the operator without special training in programming work owing to the interactive operator- control system dialogue. Introduction of complex geometry operations is particularly easy.
